State of the Union
President Chimpo will be stammering to the U.S. people tonight, telling them that everything is okay and that we must win in Iraq - blah blah blah. What he won’t be saying, and what I would like to hear, is that his daughters, and the sons and daughters of the other surge-pushers, will be joining up and volunteering for service in Iraq. Cowards. One of the problem with his and John McCain’s surge idea is that opposition is coming hard and fast from Republicans. This speech will not convince them or the American public in even the short-term. This is true, even if Chris Matthews and the other worthless pundits declare the speech a “home run”. For a preview of the speech, here.
For a humorous running commentary of the speech, try Atrios Eschaton.

At least he managed to read the whole thing out, unlike the Korean president and his equivalent speech.
Sounds like Pres Roh forget to rehearse it and, running out time, had to skip large chunks of it!
